{"id":19120,"date":"2024-04-22T11:07:36","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T08:07:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/linnus.samu.ee\/?page_id=19120"},"modified":"2026-01-06T11:24:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T09:24:33","slug":"information-for-groups","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/linnus.samu.ee\/en\/visitors-info\/information-for-groups\/","title":{"rendered":"Information for groups"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-white-background-color has-background\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);font-size:clamp(0.875rem, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.682), 1.25rem);line-height:1.6\"><blockquote><p>We wish to offer the visitors of Kuressaare Castle Museum as pleasant a visit as possible, and therefore, we ask you to adhere to the following principles for the sake of safety and well-being:<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"padding-right:10vw\" class=\"wp-block-list has-medium-font-size\">\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:1em\">For larger group visits to the Linnus Museum, <strong>orders for tours and guides can only be made by e-mail<\/strong> and preferably <strong>at least five working days in advance<\/strong> at: <a href=\"mailto:linnus@samu.ee\">linnus@samu.ee<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:1em\">When making reservations for tours, please be sure to <strong>provide the name and telephone number of the group attendant<\/strong> so that we can contact them quickly if necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:1em\">In the case of group visits, please let us know in advance the <strong>size of the group<\/strong>, the <strong>age group<\/strong> of the visitors (children, adults, seniors), and <strong>special needs<\/strong>. In the case of <strong>school groups<\/strong>, please indicate <strong>which grade<\/strong> the students attend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:1em\">The <strong>group visit is led by the Museum&#8217;s visitor experience guide or a guide<\/strong> ordered from outside the Museum, who ensures that the movement in the Museum premises is smooth and the Museum visit is memorable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:1em\">Through advance booking, it is <strong>possible to order a guided tour<\/strong> of the castle in Estonian, English, Russian, Swedish, German, or Finnish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:1em\"><strong>One guide<\/strong> performs a tour for <strong>up to 25 people<\/strong> at a time. For a larger group, the group is split in half, and two or more guides must be ordered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:1em\">Guide service (1.5 hours) costs <strong>90 euros, plus the ticket fee<\/strong> (discounted tickets are valid for groups of 10 or more and only if paid in one payment).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:1em\">In case of <strong>group visits or changes<\/strong>, please inform the Museum <strong>at least 24 hours before<\/strong> the date of the ordered excursion.
